Recruiting Update: Class of 2025 Top Prospects Secure Commitments

As the 2025 high school season peaks, the top-ranked prospects from the Perfect Game Class of 2025 are finalizing their collegiate plans. Grady Emerson and Chase Fuller remain the headliners of a deep recruiting cycle.

The 2025 recruiting cycle has reached a fever pitch as the summer circuit begins. Grady Emerson, the top-ranked player in the country, continues to dazzle scouts with his elite hit tool and versatile defensive skills. Emerson's performance at recent Perfect Game showcases has solidified his status as a potential top-five pick in the upcoming MLB Draft, though he remains committed to his collegiate path for now.

Joining Emerson at the top of the charts are Chase Fuller and Dexter McCleon Jr., both of whom have seen their stock rise after dominant performances in the WWBA National Championships. Recruiter activity has been especially high in the Texas and Florida regions, where the concentration of '5-star' talent is at an all-time high. Many of these athletes have already logged over 100 MPH exit velocities, a metric once reserved for college seniors.

College coaches are also keeping a close eye on re-classified players and underclassmen who are making noise in the 17U brackets. The use of 'Prospect Gateways' for 13U and 14U players has allowed recruiters to identify high-ceiling talent earlier than ever before. With the transfer portal impacting collegiate rosters, the pressure to secure high-quality high school commitments has never been greater for Division I programs.
