LakePoint Sports Prepares for 2026 Prep Baseball Future Games in July
The premier recruiting event of the summer, the Prep Baseball Future Games, will take place July 22-25 at LakePoint Sports Complex. The event will spotlight the top uncommitted players in the 2028 class, drawing hundreds of college coaches to Georgia.
Anticipation is building for the 2026 Prep Baseball Future Games, which are set to begin later this month at the LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Georgia. This invite-only event is widely considered the single most important recruiting weekend for uncommitted high school players, particularly those in the Class of 2028. Each state or region brings a hand-selected roster of its top prospects to compete in a showcase and game format in front of a massive crowd of Division 1 coaches. The unique structure of the Future Games allows coaches to see players in a 'best-vs-best' environment, which often leads to immediate interest and future scholarship offers. In addition to the main games, the complex will simultaneously host the Senior Future Games for uncommitted 2027s and the Junior Future Games for the 2030 and 2031 graduates. LakePoint’s state-of-the-art facilities, including full Trackman integration on every field, ensure that every pitch and swing is recorded and analyzed. For the 2026 edition, organizers have added new 'educational seminars' for families to help them navigate the complexities of the modern recruiting landscape and the transfer portal. As the qualifying ID events wrap up this week, the final rosters are being solidified, setting the stage for what many call the 'Super Bowl' of college baseball recruiting.
